1. Goals
For Student
01/ Bringing opportunities for students to explore and exprience English's traditional culture.
02/ Allowing students to be well - equipped with necessary knowledge about the UK study route: From selecting majors, choosing suitable universities, preparing documents to apply for scholarships & Visa.
03/ Students take the initiative in building a clear path to study in the UK by communicating directly with experts in the field.
For University representatives
01/ Participating in the UK study abroad fair held on Foreign Trade University (FTU) campus - One of the most prestigious universities in the field of economics & business.
02/ Increasing the Universities' brand reputation among 15,000 students on FTU's official media channels.
03/ Reaching out to FTU students who are oriented to study in the UK for the January & September intake, 2023.
2. Organiᴢing Committees
FTU Student Service Centre
- A representative unit for all students in FTU
- Responsible for organizing extracurricular activities for FTU students
British Council
- A professional unit, specialized in introducing British culture to other people
- In charge of consultanting & co-organizing activities about British culture and people
INDEC
- Head of the organizing committee and communication
- Conducting a series of activities in the event
- Admission support for UK universities
3. Target Audience
- 70% Foreign Trade University (FTU) student, 20% National Economics University (NEU) student & 10% students from other universites in Vietnam
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree at FTU
- Major in: Economics, Business, Management, HR, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Logistic & Supply Chain
- Post-graduate orientation: Going to study aboard in English-speaking countries
- Studying abroad is not only for studying, but also is a journey to live fully with experiences, discover new things about the culture, cuisine and people in that country.
- Thanks to the high-quality teaching and learning environment at FTU, students are now equipped with remarkable academic knowledge & English skills. With these valuable knowledge and skills, it is certain that FTU students can meet the entry requirements and be eligible to study aboard in the UK.
- Students can access information easily & tend to respond enthusiastically to trust-worthy information sources and activities organized by universities, teachers and government agencies.
4. Main Activities
4.1 Overview
- The series of activities does not stop at connecting students with university representatives with the goal of enrollment & brand coverage. At UK Education Fair, INDEC focuses on providing exactly the values that students need. Studying abroad is not just for learning, but also for exploring and experiencing British culture and people.
- In order to do that, in the early stages of your research for studying aboard, you will need a close and profound access to official information sources to know if the UK is the most suitable destination!

4.3 Series of activities
28/09/2022 - 30/9/2022 | Exhibition of photos & artifacts about British culture and people
- British Council will coordinate with INDEC to organize exhibitions on traditional British culture
- Students can experience a traditional British afternoon tea party
- Visit the exhibition of paintings & artifacts about British culture
30/09/2022 | Workshop about British culture, Chevening scholarship & visa policies for international students
- Session 1: Getting to know British culture, people and the quality of education in the UK
- Session 2: Introducing about Chevening - British government scholarship & application experience
- Session 3: Detailed instructions on how to apply for a student visa and graduate visa
30/09/2022 | One-on-one consultations with the university representatives
- Reaching out to students who have a specific school choice in mind and seek more in-depth information by meeting with the university representatives
- Providing students with an objective source of information to evaluate the options and make the most appropriate decision
- Introducing the university's strengths, answering questions and issuing an offer letter in the Fair.
5. Joining Cost
Joining cost: 600 GBP/booth
- For universities' representatives to attend offline at the booth on September 30th.
Cost: 600 GBP - For universities' representatives who cannot attend offline, you can attend online. INDEC can also arrange staff to support you at the booth
Cost: 500 GBP
Deadline: 10th September
